will there be a poll on most helpful/knowledgeble user?

Yes, just takes a bit of time to create all the polls. That's the last one to do.

Voted for Hellfire's thread. All were helpful threads but Hellfire was the most consistent in responding to people's questions on his thread over the past few years, while some just disappeared after the first post (eg. Rogers retention thread).

Red_Army's thread title is misspelled by the way. Should be Plumbing Advice, not Plubming Advice. :)

Monsieur Maggot

You are most deserving of this award. The $ 50 you will win in nothing compared to the millions that Canadians have saved over the last sixteen months. Almost 15 000 replies and 2 million hits.

And you have asked nothing in return. A true RFD'er.

Please vote for this thread it is an incredible endeavour !

Thanks everyone.

I am not surprised the interest the thread garnered.

The savings are too great to keep quiet. Buying one car in the US could conceivably save you more money than almost all the other threads combined.

The world needs to know just how easy it is to import a car.

The Canadian car dealers would wish I would just shut up and go away.

They're spending thousands of dollars telling you that deals exist in Canada instead of actually giving you a break.

Not really.. I think knowledge is power, and for those who are in a position to buy from states and don't mind doing the legwork; save accordingly

Glad I could help.

Without question this thread has my vote. We have just completely finished our auto transaction and likely without this thread we wouldn't have done it. It was through alot of help from this thread that we ended up buying down south and saving over $11000 off of list. It afforded our family a really nicely packaged Toyota that we couldn't afford buying here. Thanks to Monsieurmaggot and to all that contributed , we ended up getting one Red Flag HOT Deal.

You got my vote as well. I've passed on your info to several friends and they are all very appreciative of your information. Thank you!
