So I was looking at buying a new PC. I want to be able to play games and all that other good stuff.. I want to get it from FutureShop (because i dont want to pay for a year..).
Q1. How is this set-up?

OR
this set-up?...
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=BDL10001504&catid=20215
Q2. I'm looking for a good wireless mouse. Suggestions?
Q3. I need a wireless router, suggestions?
Link anything and everything to the FutureShop site. I know a lot of people hate FS, that's fine. I don't want to pay for a year. Looking to spend max around $100 on a router?
I'm currently using the Logitech G15 KB so im fine with this for now.
Thanks everyone.

There are other ccompanies that do financing/payment plans other than future shop. Wireless mouse I prefer microsoft mice. Costco has a nice one as well. Doesn't matter too much as long as it feels nice in your hand. Router: wireless g unless you have a n-capable computer or card. Not worth the extra money at this point to go wireless-n.

Yeah, took a look at Costco's Desktops and there's really nothing in my budget that can compare to those two.
Thanks for the tips, ill look at the wireless-g routers and the MS mice.

if u have the g15 keyboard.. maybe complete the set with g7? i have the exact same set.. one thing about the g7.. i have two.. one at work.. the one at work died after one year and had to be RMA.. the other mouse at home works for almost three years
as of the router.. for 100 $ i believe that 350n is on sale sometimes for 100$ (correct me if im wrong)
if not.. there is this -> http://www.infonec.com/site/main.php?module=detail&id=353971
also, did u think about building a computer by yourself? it will be much cheaper.. and better components (you mentioned gaming)
finally, why do you like futureshop that much? their prices are more expensive..

finally, why do you like futureshop that much? their prices are more expensive.. and they have that whole monster cable thing that they try to sell everytime :S
it's not really "i like futureshop", it's just their "no payments for 1 year" thing. As far as I know, FutureShop and BestBuy are the only ones that offer that. For the price I didn't think the computers I listed at the top were that bad.

A few things that pop into mind:
1) Most games use two or less cores, so you might want to pass on a quad or triple core chip for a more powerful dual core one, such as an e8400.
2) Most computers that FS/BB sell don't have a dedicated video card. Therefore, if you're going to do any gaming you'll need to install it yourself. If you're planning on getting a fairly powerful video card, you'll probably need to upgrade the power supply. Is that something you feel comfortable doing?
