I need a solution where I have my laptop screen + LCD monitor + projector to be all displaying the same content or at the least have laptop as primary and the other 2 as secondary desktops.
On my laptop I have an s-video out and a VGA out but it seems I am only allowed to have one + laptop monitor at any given time. Every time I try to toggle, the other one is disabled by default. Any ideas?
At the same time, I purchased a VGA splitter + a VGA-RCA adapter for under <$20 from CTY and while the VGA splitter seems to do it's job fine, it doesn't seem that I can get the proper signal out to tv from the VGA-RCA adapter. I ready somewhere that cards with video out may be a requirement..but I can't get it to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: As an addendum, it seems that monoprice has something I will order in the future, but I need a temp solution for this weekend.
