We were thinking of going to St. Barthelemy (St. Barth's) for our honeymoon, and we wanted to stay at a private villa (beachfront or mountain doesn't really matter). Has anyone here stayed at those villas and has recommendations or villas to avoid?

Any help would be great!

Isn't St. Bart a tiny island off St. Martin?
Since there's no pre-packaged trip or chartered flights, it will be hard to find the flight... not to mention the huge cost... I don't think it's worth all the trouble. You'd be better off staying in St. Martin, and get a day trip to St. Bart from there.

Yes St. Bart is a tiny island off St. Martin. My fiance and I definitely want the 'exotic, out of the way locale' that St. Barts has to offer. Villa's are about 2500 - 3000 per week to rent. (per couple).

Nah. Just fly JetBlue to St. Martin, and take the ferry over to St. Barts.
