Sorry, I didn't realize you'd be putting a $300 video card and CPU on a $60 motherboard. My apologies, I thought you were looking for a budget upgrade. Good luck with your search.

Regardless of how 'good' the videocard maybe, using a 16x pcie videocard on a 4x bus doesnt do anyone any good.
Sure you can still play games, you wont be utilizing the card's full potential, even if it's not a $300 videocard.

I do not mean this to be a debate, but it seems only the high end nVidia based cards seem to be affected by the lower link speed and only in some games. In others, the difference is less than 10%. For some reason, ATI cards are likely less affected.

So people running high end hardware (CPU and video) would likely see a difference. However, those choosing Quads and top end video are also choosing top end motherboards.
Again, the $60 tag screamed budget system to me. Yes, this board has it's limitiations, but so do the other $60 motherboards. That said, the OP should be able to find an older P965 board for close to budget.
