Futureshop has the Kingston 2GB MicroSD for $40.99 http://www.futureshop.ca/multimedia/products/regular/10086072.gif (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10086072&catid=)
Dell.ca has the same item for $9.99 (http://accessories.dell.com/sna/products/Digital_Cameras_PDA/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&cs=cadhs1&sku=A0968839&dgc=AF&cid=3881&lid=77903)
PM with FS: $40.99 - $9.99 = $31.00
110% off difference is $3.10
Total of $9.99 - $3.10 = $6.89
As usual YMMV with the managers who will quote imaginary reasons why they can't PM with Dell... I stood my ground and told them Dell ships free but the manager insists it has to be "Next day" shipping... good thing I got referred to a diff manager who went to Dell.ca website and found that they can't change it to shipping other than the standard free Ground shipping...
Got 4 pcs for $6.89 each... a savings of $12.40 if bought from Dell.ca

I just noticed that your thread title says "PM opportunity". So, this isn't an official deal or anything .. just an opportunity ..
not bad nonetheless

It's still a deal nonetheless... if you don't want to save $3.10 (for each 2GB you buy) you can still buy the $9.99 price from Dell.ca which still a nice price.
However, if you are purchasing 3 or more of these (you can never have enough memory for your Nintendo DS, cellphone, Digital camera and other gadgets that accept SD or MicroSD), it will be a lot of savings...
In my case, since this past few weeks I've already bought around 10 pcs of diff brand 2gb MicroSD from diff online stores at different prices, the lowest of which is $9.99 from NCIX.com (yup had to pay $5.99 shipping), so I'm really banging my head on the wall as I would've saved $31 bucks if I waited...

err... huh?
PM deals have always been an "opportunity" to get sth at a lower price
i don't understand how one can regard a PM deal as "official" or not...

Actually I saw a post on DG for the Dell.ca $9.99 deal, I remembered buying the 2GB Kingston MicroSD for $11.99 a couple of weeks ago from Futureshop, so I checked the FS price... lo and behold, it's listed at $40.99, so I went and PMed at lunch time.... as soon as I got the PM, I posted this deal... didn't even see Willy and Sushi's post.... Anyway, they posted the opportunity at Dell's $9.99 deal thread, this thread ensures that more people gets to catch on the action...

I got one! Is anyone else need this one, I can help pm, no extra charge, only pay cost and shipping. If send by letter $0.55, should be take out the package! It is your call!
PS: Is any policy said for the PM only one per customer?
thanks!

N/M then... i thought you saw those deals f/ the other thread and then proceed w/ new thread...
no offense to the actual deal post tho. it was a good idea to start a thread since other deal was embedded into another thread.

if still in 30 days, return it! or buy a new one, use the old receive return it, or even return it without receive to get store credit to buy another one. you have so many choice to figure out!
Good luck!
PS: what is wrong with FS online flyer? "The English language flyer is not currently available. Please check back on [Sunday, June 8]. We apologize for any inconvenience. "
Can not check the price!

This is a great price, but the moronic manager at my local FS (Heartland) won't price match Dell, or anything where he says he'll lose money.

Thanks was able to get one today... after standing my ground that 10% PM should be applied (they had the nerve to tell me 10% doesn't count for online merchandise)

most time, just check out as normal, the people work at Customer service center have more experience with pm. So do not go there ask the pm. just walk out as normal check out, and show the print out. the most time will be pass easier to compare you walk to the customer service center.

Took a printout to the Broadway FS in Vancouver and PM'ed at $6.89, I ended up buying 3. I took it to the cashier to PM. The cashier was a noob so I had no problem PM'ing. My co-worker bought one off me after he found out how much I got it for.

the dell store, as in one of their kiosks (usually at malls) ??
if so, that's weird, cuz i don't usually notice much in terms of accs. on sale...

I think dell changed the price now from 9.99 to 14.99.
If not does any one have the link for the 9.99 price?
Thanks

I was at the kiosk today, I asked them if they sell the microsd cards there, they said they don't carry any of them there. Is there another way I can get this deal?

Yep, looks like the price is now $14.99.
I remember that it was only a few months ago when I pm'ed one of these for around $25 - At the time, I got a great deal (I bought 3 at the time. One for my cellphone and 2 for the gps unit). Prices sure have dropped.
