Hello all,
I plan on traveling to Europe this summer (probably July) with 2-3 friends,
I found http://www.skyscanner.net/ to be cheap for flights within Europe but was wondering where I can find the cheapest tickets to get to Europe from Calgary Canada. (preferably not on a boat lol)
ie.are there and site that offer charter flights, or are seat sales worth looking into.
Thanks in advance.

Transat Holiday is the cheapest way I found to fly multi-city return trip. I booked my Aug trip leaving from YYZ to LGW, returning from CDG to YUL for $1,015.50. I used British Airways multi-city Europe flights from LGW to VCE & FCO to LHR for $240. After all the researches I've done, the cheapest way to is fly into either LHR or LGW first, and then use the other Europe airlines to fly is the cheapest way. Don't fly direct if you need to worry about the budget.

Check out Zoom airline or Air transat. Zoom Airline flies from Calgary to London Gatwick, Paris, Glasgow, and Manchester.
And google "no frills airline" for inter-Europe airlines, you'll come up with some pretty decent airlines besides the more popular Easyjet and Ryanair.
But if you're looking into traveling in mid-July, and you still haven't booked your tickets, you might have to do lots and lots of research to find the best deal. Try using different sites, even if you already have a flight number in mind.

also watch out with luggage and airport changes. A lot of people are tempted to fly through London but arn't aware of the costs (or traffic) switching airports.
Also check with local european airlines luggage restrictions. They are quite strict on them. For flights out of London Stansted even hand luggage is weighed.
skyscanner.net has most cheap airlines listed.

I know you're kidding but I do hope you realize that Calgary is inland and in no way can you reach London by boat.

It is cheaper to fly zoom from Toronto. If you can get to Toronto for freeeeee that would be ideal.
