Any problems driving accross border with gas can in trunk?

Why would you even think of doing such a thing from a safety standpoint and I'm sure if the border guards knew they may have a few questions for you as well. It's just not worth it. Can you imagine what could happen if you were involved in a collision?

Unless you get a huge gas can your not going to save much anyways. Gas is only 10-25% cheaper down south anyways. Unless you had multiple cans its not really worth it.

Your better off brining some more friends and brining back more duty free booze. $23 for 1.75 liter bottle of vodka at the border. Thats like $50 here.
