Hey guys, I was just wondering what the FutureShop interview process was like. How many interviews are there in total, and how long do they take to complete? Also, if I have a second interview, does that mean i have a high chance of being hired?
Any info would be appreciated...

The process is determine your sales skills / personality. Nothing else really matters.
The second interview means you'll meet with the DSM or SM who determines whether or not you'll get the position.
I worked for FutureShop while in university and have many friends who manage stores now - just convince the second guy that you're the right guy for the job. They could always hire more than neccesary if they like you.

Ahhhhh I see... Well yeah, my first interview was actually at the regional office, with the GM of the store I'm interested in going to... Isn't he the highest guy there, so if he says yeah it's a yeah? Or do the SM's (sales managers I'm assuming), have more power?

Both of their agreement is required. Although it's the GM's store, the sales associate ultimately reports to the DSM. The fact that the GM likes you though is a big plus, but you should still aim to impress.
Good luck!

Questions they ask during the online survey interviews involve a lot of screening for "honest" people. You'll be asked very specific questions, such as "would you fire someone if they stole $5 from the store?". Mostly for the application, you just gotta pretend to be the General Manager of the store. Would you hire someone who would steal? Would you hire someone who would let family steal? Etc, think about it that way.
The second interview involves a phone call, it's really basic sales questions, past experiences, whats the most stressful situation you've had in other jobs/volunteering and how did you deal with it (they could even ask about academics?). They're just basically looking for good social skills and customer service skills (everyone, even the merchandising team need to know how to deal with customers and how to sell).
The third interview is probably the hardest; you'll actually have to know how to pitch sales, what kind of sales tactics to use BEFORE you go into the interview (honestly, I had to do this part two times before I got my job). This includes fitting the customer's life style to service plans, finding out which accessories they need etc. If they ask you when someone asks you to check out an Xbox360, do not say "I'll put it through and tell them to have a nice day". If you say that, the interview's pretty much over =/.
So, lets say you apply for computers. Know the different type of computers that can match to certain customers; cell phones, know the different type of cell phone plans to match certain customers; TV's, know which sized TVs match each customer etc. etc. etc. list goes on!
The fourth and probably the easiest and fastest interview is the General Manager. This one really varies depending on who you are and what the other supervisors have seen from you during the other interviews. It'll mostly be questions as to why you want the job, why do you deserve it, why do you want a certain department and so on. The General Manager also see if you're honest and can be trusted in a store that carries over Million's of dollars of products.
If you can get through all that using my advice, congrats! Do consider applying to Best Buy though, because if you've never had experience in commissioned based sales, all your co-workers are going to walk all over you and steal your sales (heard bad stories from ex-Futureshop employees who. i hear best buy is beter
