And who would join a male-only yoga class? Dudes that like dudes. So if I ain't one of them, I'd probably don't wanna be eye candy there.

Usually such restrictions on classes are because the women don't want the men in their classes. I've seen it happen because the women have complained about the smell and ooogling. Maybe that's the case with this class.

The whole yoga/pilates thing is definitely a women's market. I went out yesterday looking for a floor mat so I can do exercises on my hardwood floor. Every single mat that I saw was targeted towards women with pictures of women doing stuff on the picture. One of the Nike mats, believe it or not, was actually labelled "WOMEN" instead of "UNI". I can't understand how a plain orange floor mat can be a woman's-only mat....but whatever...

As for the class, I think it's a good idea if people are actually trying to limber up. It would prevent the distractions of a little bent-over booty right in your face, that's for sure.

It seems that my decision to do yoga on my own at home (when I was doing it) is turning out to be a wise decision after all!
