Does anyone have experience teaching English overseas?
Did you have to get any certification? If you did, where did you obtain it?
How did you get your job placement?
What country did you work in? Did you recieve free housing, airfare etc?

Has anybody heard of Footprints Recruiting ESL employment agency?
They claim the following:
NO FEES - we offer FREE ESL teacher placement services for native English speakers.
NO COURSES - all you need is a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
FREE SUPPORT - we place you in a job and we support you all year.

Here's a well-known place to get certification if you plan to teach overseas. My friend did it and said it was quite good. He hasn't tried to apply for jobs yet though.
