First of all, I went to an interview for a work study position at Ryerson today. Can't say I did too well, cause I suck with interviews getting nervous and not asking any questions and stuff :( (That's bad right?)
So I'm looking for some tips on handling interviews better.
Also about thank you letters...I feel like I should send one but don't really know what to include in it. Just thank them for their time and for giving me the opportunity for an interview, and...what? lol
Please help, thanks.

I usually just send an email thanking them for their time, and a sentence or two reaffirming why I am a strong candidate (maybe mentioning something I might have not got across well during the interview) and just restating my interest in the position. No need to make it too long.
I used to think thank you letters were unimportant and never did them, but the first time I sent one, I ended up getting an offer for the position. When giving me the offer, the interviewer specifically stated my thank you email distinguished me from other candidates and impressed them.
It won't do much for you if your interview was terrible, you lack skills for the position, you have a bad resume, etc. It's just one little thing that could improve your chances if they are trying to decide between two people (YMMV, of course). It only takes 5 minutes to write one.

monster.ca could be your best friend for interview prep, and thank you letter advice.
