Stop it with the exageration. There's a lot of people, eventually there is going to be some stupid people in the lot. It's the same everywhere, stop saying things like ''I'M so ashamed''... come on, it's a stupid little thing

It's almost as stupid as the quebec judge who said something like "the sentence is reduced because the father preserved the virginity of his daughter by sticking it in only in her ass". Judge Ruffo I think?

I wonder how all these judges would feel if it were a member of their familly or a loved one that was the victim in any of these cases. I really feel that we should be able to vote for judges the same way we do politicians. This way they would at least be accountable to the people they are supposed to protect.

Without getting into an entire debate about that issue, I will say I'm totally against elected judges. One can't be unbiased or without conflicts of interest when one is beholden to or owes favours to people who contributed to their campaigns or voted for them.
With respect to your first sentence, a judge's feelings/emotions and even political views are supposed to be irrelvant, else once again, they can't be objective. I for one would likely feel like I'd want to kill someone if a family member were hurt or murdered, yet I don't believe in capital punishment. Emotions have to be put aside as a judge, just as political leanings do, in order to ensure independance in decision making. Without that, we'd have decisions going every which way and no certainty in law whatsoever.
That said, you may be pleased to hear that Harper intends on going through a confirmation process, similar to what's done in the U.S., with the next SCC Justice. Personally I don't like the idea.
