I am new to the city and feel like going out tonight, is there any place worth hitting on a Wednesday? I live ossington/davenport but am willing to go anywhere (I feel like exploring a bit too).

Richmond Street is Toronto's clubbing district.
You might also wanna check out Yonge/Dundas Square Friday/Saturday nights, they usually have unique live events going on there.
Another place of interest may be the "hot box cafe" in kennsington market if you're the hippie kind.

grab a bike and head to the leslie street spit at night, that place is teh **** when its pure dark and you have no lights.

Welcome to Toronto! Overall, we're a nice bunch. :)
The Luminato Festival is coming up soon so that'll be something worth checking out. I went last year and it was pretty fun.
