I found some rough spots on the underside of the passenger door. I can't seem to scrub it off. (Kind of looks like barnacles on a boat.) Is this salt built up or corrosion? I haven't tried hot water yet...but aside from that, are there any products that'll get rid of it?

Pretty sure we do salt and sand. Took me forever to clean the garage this past weekend cuz a huge deposit of it was on the floor. So no one has any idea how I could get that crap off?

An agressive clay bar (www.eshine.ca) used for removing paint overspray. If that cannot remove it you will need to look at wetsanding. Err also make sure it is not tar. If it is tar; buy a strong tar remover or APC; and soak it for 30 seconds and rinse off immediately.
I would recommend 2500 followed by 3000 unigrit sandpaper by Meguiars; pretty smooth but wetsanding should be your last result; try the clay.
