I recently looked into the job market of Saskatchewan( i hope i got the spelling right!) and it showed very little unemployment and cheaper cost of living than Calgary and Toronto! Is the finance industry any good there? Jobs for grads there? I know its no Toronto but still why do we always say Calgary or Toronto? I think lately Calgary has had flocks of immigrants and its downside has started.. High cost of living with shortage of houses .. if you are in banking/finance would you go to Calgary Toronto or Sask.? and why??

The sask market has been on the upswing for the past 18 months or so. Some areas are better than others, regina and saskatoon being noteable. Other areas centered around the oil/gas industry such as battlefords, lloydminster and kindersly have been prosperous for years now.

The major advantage is the cost of living is significantly cheaper, especially the housing. That will change in the next 12 months, so if you are looking at moving, do it now.

As for banking/finance, you will be more prosperous in calgary or toronto. The difference is your money will go farther in saskatchewan.
