Mb B200

wondering if any of you guys bought the b200. If you did, did you buy the turbo one? what is your opinion on this car? and most importantly, if you don't mind, how much did you end up paying (list model, packages and etc)

my family has one, b200t 2007

we picked it up 2nd hand from the dealer, had about 13k clicks on it... cost 30k

i've driven both the t and non-t ones... the non-t version is anemic, and you'll be wishing for more power... the t version is pretty quick

you're not getting a luxury car with the b200 really, but it is pretty quick and there is some good craftsman quality there... but don't doubt that the price you'll be paying will be marked up over a mazda 3 or honda fit because of the badge (but i'll reiterate that the interior is MUCH nicer than any of the two aforementioned cars)

some things i like: DECEPTIVELY roomy, quick acceleration with the turbo version, lots of trunk space, pretty responsive, very good quality interior, modern design, one of the better looking hatchbacks in my opinion

some things i don't like: huge turning angles, engine sounds like **** (the turbo spool isn't bad though), poor image (cheapest end mercedes... though i defend that the car can stand on its own merits), noisy at higher speeds, it's a hatchback
