I am currently going into my 3rd year at uoft B.Comm and I screwed my GPA and cant get into a CA Big firm. Thinking a doing a CMA and then an MBA. My question is in regards to the GPA requiremnts for MBA programs, I've looked online at a few programs, Rotman nautrally, requires a good GPA in final academic year. My questio nis thus, if my 1-3 years GPA is not so good maybe 2.7, but my GPA in 4th year shoots up to 3.5,6, do i still have a good chance of getting in, do they even look at previous year makrs?

Thnx in advance.

you should be fine if you do well on your final years at UT. They also look at your GMAT score, work experience, reference letters, essays, and extracurricular activities.

Hey,

Rotman looks at your overall application. My GPA was exactly like what you said. 2.6CGPA, 3.5 on final year. My GMAT was average at 650, but I had great references from my employer. It is important to get some meaningful experiences so you got something good to talk about in your essay/interview.

After you get your CMA, by that time, you can do an executive MBA. Depending where you work, the employer may pay for it. Some legitimate university also offer Exe-MBA, where you don't even need a degree to enter.
