What else is there to do in Toronto?
I have been to the beaches, the movie theaters, CN Tower, Ontario Science Centre, ROM, Rogers Centre, Harbor Front, basically all the malls including Square 1 and VaughMills.
Is there anything else to do in this boring city? The news mention that tourists in Toronto has went down, since there's isn't anything to do here.
Did i forget to go somewhere? If so please suggest something.
Thanks

Walking down Queen St W. is cool, once in a while you might get someone famous at MoD. My g.f works on Queen St W; so I try to catch her in between breaks ;)
Very cute. But i think me and my gf walked from Dundas & Yonge, down to Queen, King, Adelaide to harbor front. 100x already

Aren't those thing illegal in Ontario. Well not illegal but required some sort of permit? I would love to ride those a around.

So you have to be 14 years old to goto those places? I dunno how old are you. but i am going to assume you're 65 year old that just retired. So where do you old ppl go for fun? Beside walking in the park talking to birds and squirrels and calling kids "Whipper Snappers!!!" when they out run you when you're on your motorize cart. =P
Paint ballin
I would love that! But friends always back out on this event. *sigh* And i don't want to go public games b/c the pros use their custom guns *scary*

Toront is boring? Is there a better city in Canada with better attractions? Like your not going to have unlimited attractions in any city if thats what your asking for

Go in to a bar at the corner of Church and Wellesley Street.
Ask for Joe, he will show you some lady friend and make sure you'll have a good' ole time.
Believe you me, after this experience you will see Toronto in a whole new light.

There's a festival in Toronto every week. If you find most of the places you visit boring then maybe you need to think about what you are looking for.
There's always something new to see in places you've already been to. AGO has new exhibits, same with other galleries and museums. There's loads of outdoor events. And if you are really bored with Toronto, there's also Ontario, then Canada...

I like doing things that I have done before. I always enjoy spending times at Edwards Gardens, taking a walk in The Beach (aka The Beaches), biking around the Leslie Spit and up through the bike trails in toronto.
While I am in Markham I enjoy walking around Unionville, but there is only so much to see there.
Two things I haven't done yet, which are on my list:
Scarborough Bluffs
Play at High Park in the Outdoor Theatre (June)

Do you this by yourself usually? Just want to know if my theory stands true.
Sometimes by myself, sometimes with my finance, sometimes with friends. It Depends.
You are right though - you can have a great time just spending time with people who are fun and entertainting doing nothing but hanging out.

IMO, the bluffs aren't that great. Sure they're nice, but yeah, been there one too many times I guess. They're nice if you're a photographer or you bring a bike - going down the huge hill is the best part. One thing I've always wanted to do though, is go down the hill in the winter on like a GT or something.
Bike along the board walk, you can go all the way up to like Pickering and further (I think).

Toronto isn't about all the attractions.
it's about the city and what's really in the city already, which are your family and friends.
Spend time with them anywhere and you'll have a good time.
That's why Toronto is most often regarded as a great place to live because it's densely populated in various cultures.

Formula Kartways, up in Brampton. They're not the same slow go-karts you're used to seeing at Wonderland.

You're complaining about being bored? Take a second look at the places you've mentioned....the CN Tower, the Science Centre, ROM..are you kidding me? The last time I visited those places was for school trips when I was about 12 years old. No wonder you're bored.

There's a festival in Toronto every week.
I agree with this answer. In my opinion the key to enjoying Toronto is to visit the festivals or events throughout the summer. These are free unless noted.
Some of them include:
- HotDocs documentary festival (April) (Not free)
- OCAD open house (it was last week) (Pay what you can)
- Doors Open Toronto (http://www.toronto.ca/doorsopen/) - 150 buildings that are normally off-limits are open to you. (May, one week after the Victoria Day weekend)
- CONTACT Photography Festival (http://www.contactphoto.com/) (Throughout May) (Some things might not be free; I haven't checked)
- Newmindspace (http://www.newmindspace.com/) will occasionally do cool things. (Pillow fight on May 31, 2008)
- Look out for these neighbourhood street festivals (food not free) (July and August, the link is for 2007): http://torontoist.com/2007/07/summer_tastes_o.php
- There's a Chinese festival at Kennedy & Steeles in Markham. Personally I attended last year and didn't care for it, but others might. (food not free) (I think it was in June or July)
- There are rock music festivals, but I don't know much about them. (not free)
- Woofstock (http://www.woofstock.ca/) (June)
- Pride week (June)
- Toronto Fringe Festival (http://www.fringetoronto.com/) (plays, not free) (July)
- Jazz performances in the Distillery District on the weekend before the Beaches Jazz Festival (July)
- Beaches Jazz festival (July)
- Taste of the Danforth (http://www.toronto.com/TasteOfTheDanforth) - Danforth Ave. is closed for a weekend in August to sample Greek food. Some say the festival has become too generic and commercialized (http://torontoist.com/2007/08/test_of_the_dan.php). (the food is not free) (August)
- Beerlicious (http://www.beerfestival.ca/) - Buy your tickets early for this one. (not free) (August)
- Caribana (August)
- Toronto International Film Festival (http://www.tiff08.ca) (September) (not free)
- Nuit Blanche (http://wx.toronto.ca/inter/it/newsrel.nsf/7017df2f20edbe2885256619004e428e/47069913abbb7729852574040057a79f?OpenDocument). One night of contemporary art exhibitions around the central city. (October)
I look at the listings in Now, Eye, and Torontoist (http://www.torontoist.com/) to find these things.
On the non-festival or event front:
- Take in a sporting event (not free)
- The Museum and Arts pass (http://www.tpl.toronto.on.ca/spe_ser_museum_arts_pass.jsp)
- Watch a play (fringe or not). I think the big corporate theatres have some rush seats. (not free)
- MOCCA (http://www.mocca.toronto.on.ca/)
- Drive to the Albright Knox Gallery in Buffalo (not free)
- Camping (not free)
Still looking for something more? Then perhaps the Go Abroad Fair (http://www.goabroadfair.ca/) is for you. (September)

not sure if you have already tried different types of ethnic food, Toronto GTA is all about multiculturalism and diversity, it's a great opportunity to go try different types of wonderful ethnic food, there are a lot of cheap-eat places around.

haha make a list and try a different ethnic food every weekend.
go check out the different neighbourhoods
check out some of the awesome patio's we have
grab a few friends, sit on a patio and enjoy the summer, the food, the drinks and people watching. i can't honestly think of anything that's more relaxing or better than that to be honest.

I think most of it has been covered. Maybe casino's, African Lion Safari in Guelph, go see some sports, or some live bands...Jazz festival, Wakestock, Woofstock, theres a festival for whatever you're into.
And ya, a lot of it is more for kids, and some of it can lose its novelty after a while.
but thats life. its Toronto, not Mardi Gras. Every place gets boring. I get bored after a week or 2 on vacation. heck even Manhattan got boring after going there 5-6 times.
what sort of things do you enjoy, or are looking for?
Maybe you're answering your own question...what you need to do is travel some more, and see more of the world instead of expecting one city to be everything for everyone. Some people are best described as "citizens of the world", if only for a period of their life.
Or just get some friends together, a couple hundred bucks, some snacks, and enjoy this city's lax enforcement of marijuana posession.

you need some hobbies.
what else do you expect from a city? go visit la, ny, chicago, or any other big city and its basically all the same thing. maybe its you thats boring and not toronto.

How about driving out to the country on weekends? Plenty of great outdoor activities nearby in, among others, Algonquin Park, Ottawa region, etc.
