When New Stores Open...

I know some hold job fairs and make it a very public affair with ads everywhere. But say there's a new Wal-Mart opening or some outlet mall store, how the heck would I know about the opening? Some of them don't announce it on through job fairs or the company website. Obviously they're good places to apply as a student because they're hiring and it's better than sending resumes to a bunch of places.

What you do is go to the nearest store and ask the MANAGER there what you should do. I've had that happen a couple of times back in the day.

DON'T listen to "associates" or what not that will give you an application and tel you to fill it out. Go and talk to the manager only and ask him how how to apply for the store opening up.
