View Full Version : Broken alarm remote

I have a Clifford Concept 600 series alarm where the remote went dead on me yesterday.

I unlocked the car with the remote to get something, and when I tried to lock the car again, the remote wouldn't work. I hopped on over to Walmart and got a replacement battery but that didn't help.

When I press the remote, the led doesn't light up. If the battery for the remote is barely in there (incorrectly placed), it'll trigger the led to stay on constantly but the remote remains non-functional.

This is the only remote I have and I am no longer in the city I had the alarm installed in. I tried contacting a local authorized dealer for Clifford alarms and was advised that no replacements are available for the discontinued model.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I know how to add a new remote myself. It's just a matter of finding one now and I'd like to avoid ebay cause I need it asap.
