Hey all,

I'm contemplating getting rid of my car as my wife wants a second child and I'm going to need to go with more of a family car. Problem is I honestly have no idea how much its worth here's the breakdown:

2002 Chevy Camaro SS (35th Anniversary)
5.7L V8
~55,000 kms
Pewter
Auto
Cloth
Hardtop

Car is in good condition... Has a couple scratches but otherwise looks good. Tires are 2 years old and new brakes this year. I keep up with service and regular oil changes. It has been winter driven (have 16" snows and steelies) but I try to take good care of it.

Is there anywhere I can look around to try and get a fair estimate on the value of this car? Yeah, I realize its a domestic but its also a low km "muscle car" so I'm not sure if that counts for anything.

Any help, suggestions or estimates would be greatly appreciated. When I have more time I'll try to check out some Chevy/Camaro specific forums but as they are typically American I'm not sure how accurate it might be for a Canadian seller.

Thanks.

Have you checked autotrader.ca for comparable vehicles?

OK I'm stupid and still a little jetlagged from my trip. Not sure why I didn't think of Autotrader. Thanks.

If you are planning to buy a second family car at a dealership, try asking for a quote for trade-in value .... I know the you won't get as much as selling it privately, but you can give it a try and might get lucky and they might give u a price in a range that you might be waning to sell it for

Where did you find the extra .1 L for the engine? :cheesygri

Had a 1994 Z-28. I still miss it. :(

Isn't there a local Camaro forum for the Toronto area? You should try asking there because this may be a quasi-limited edition car.

The only way is to drop in a Ford 351 Windsor or Cleveland, but somehow, I don't think that happened...:D

Anychance of getting the URL?

Hah, no. Edited.

Looks like around 15k for an '02. Wonder if its worth the hassle of selling or if I should hold onto it for another year. Gas prices don't really bother me as I don't drive much (probably less then 10k km per year)

:..Anychance of getting the URL?..

I think it is:
http://www.tfbm.org/
For some reason I thought it was called something GTAAxxx, but maybe that's the Toronto Mustang club.

Keep it if you can! I regret selling my 99 Camaro SS.
