Used Television

Hey everyone,
I've got a chance to pick up a Sony KP-53V85 53" Rear Projection TV for a great price. I've read great reviews on it, and am wondering if there is anything I should look for when I go to buy it?
First time buying a tv of this size. It's about 7 years old now.
Any tips/suggestions?

I wouldn't even consider it. While the TV may have had great reviews... 7 years ago compared to todays TV it won't be so hot. It's gonna lack features of todays TV (ie. HDMI, HDCP, Hi-Def), not to mention its a rear projection it has terrible viewing angle and being 7 years old and used you can pretty much look forward to buying a new replacement bulb/lamp, which if you can even find one will set you back a few hundred.
