It's easy enough to do on your own if you're inclined, but if you're not make sure you call around and get prices/references.
I wanted another LNB added to my dish, with no re-aiming involved and I got quotes from $80-$300. I ended up doing it myself, for free!

Hello.
I just came across this thread, and I can do satellite installs and dish repointing. I just started doing this. and did about 4 dish installs. Please pm me if you need something done to your dish or if you are interested in the installs.

Just got my satellite installed by "teb" here on RFD this weekend. I'm a FTA ******, and can't be bothered doing my research (for now) - but I think in the future, I might try to install one myself. Anyways, TEB showed up on time, 2 people worked together... got my satellite with 2 dishes and 3 lines done in an afternoon.
TEB seems very knowledgable about things, and was very helpful in answering my questions (e.g. I ran an empty line from the satellite to my bedroom, just in case if I want TV in there in the future... he took the time to explain to me what to do (getting some 4x4 switch, connecting things, and changing the receiver setups in the menus).
If you're a newbie and don't want to bother with all those lingos, climbing ladders adjusting the dish, etc., then I wound definitely recommend getting someone to do it.
