Wait, So you want to sell these jeans for 35$ less than the tag price, even though they have been shrunk to fit YOU?

i know that probably sounded a lot better in you head.

Let's try this. Instead of just hammering on a keyboard and praying something coherent comes out, why not take the time to read and comprehend. Here, allow me to explain to you the concept of denim shrinkage.

WHEN JEANS ARE UNSANFORIZED - WHICH MEANS THAT THEY ARE NOT PRE-SHRUNK AT THE POINT OF MANUFACTURING, THEY ARE 2 SIZES LARGER THAN WHAT IS ON THE TAG. FOR INSTANCE, THESE JEANS, TAGGED 34x34, WERE IN ACTUALITY 38X38 PRIOR TO IMMERSING THEM IN WATER. THEY WERE NOT SHRUNK TO FIT "ME" PERSONALLY, BUT SHRUNK TO THE ACTUAL SIZE THAT APPEARS ON THE TAG.

Isnt science wonderful? Now get the **** out of my thread, you couldnt afford or appreciate these jeans.

and another thing...do you not take into account the fact that these jeans retailed with 14% SALES TAX, bringing the grand total to $438.90. MY price of $350, which IS NEGOTIABLE BTW, is a total saving of $88.90.

This could be moree if you factor in sundry expenses as gasoline to transport them, which as you know is higher than it's ever been.

He is not bashing, he is educating. Someone tried to be a smart*** and failed miserably. I can understand why the OP reacted the way he did since it's annoying when someone talks smack when they clearly don't know anything about the subject.

Either way, free bump! Would cop but too big for me :(

Shrink to fit jeans shrink to fit the owners body. Thats the whole purpose of shrink to fit, and why you soak them while actually wearing them.

They shrink differently depending on your body. Meaning once they have been soaked, they won't fit anyone perfect except the person who wore them during the soak.

Although that is one way to shrink jeans, it is not the most popular way. The majority of people just fill a tub with very hot water and let the jeans soak for a while, hang dry them (as many times as necessary to get the right fit) and then break them in. Since hot soaking will require very hot water, I doubt the OP sat in the tub of scalding water with his jeans on.

judging by your screen name "igot4cheap", you are definately overpricing them, retail tags doesnt really mean anything, hell all the boutique stores don't go by the prices on the tags, they all either discount it by 30-50% to act like they are giving you a hookup. the fact that it is soaked is already a downfall, so i have no idea why this guy is bashing the other dude and acting all ballin with 1 pair of denim. the 1st dude was on point with his comment, good luck to this wack seller

Your a friggin idiot. Even if he was trying to "educate", you should obviously know that people dont take it well if your trying insult them at the same time dipshit. Now heres a good question for you: Have I bashed you or am I educating?

The internet didnt cause your stupidity, it just made it more public. Think of that before you post again.

wow. this is amazing. look...the whole concept of wearing your jeans in the tub was popularized by levis as something of a gimmick. they wont shrink any more or less, really. the laws of physics are pretty rigid in terms of stuff like fabric shrinkage. and yes, i shrunk them first...and? i wanted to get them as small as they would go as to advertise the ACTUAL TAGGED SIZE, as opposed to the enormous denim clown pants that initially sat in the tub.

and if anyone really knows their ****, kato is second only to the brand 45rpm amongst denim afficionados. why the **** would i sell them half price? grow up, homeboy.

lol at this clown...learn how to sell bro. at this rate, these jeans will go for $150-180 in no time. sad attempt at "educating" the masses on these jeans, thats what happens when you bash...you look pretty stupid now going from 35$ off the price tag to $250 (which still won't sell lolol)
