Hey guys,

My sister is having problems connecting to my media server through computer names, but she can connect directly through IP. Any idea what the problem is?

Through computer names ie) \\mok

She gets the following error: Windows cannot find "\\mok"

I'm guessing its a DNS server problem? or something along those lines but the other computers on the network work fine.

Thanks in advance!

To when the PC worked properly. I have used this procedure in the past with much success---and on a recent network problem.
