I just picked up the Brother DCP-7020 3-in-1 printer at Best Buy for $64.49 after PMing Canada Computers. Right now BB is selling it for $234.99. CC has it for $79.99 until May 15 then it goes back to $89.99 or $87.99 cash price which is still a great price. Much hotter than the deal a few weeks ago where it was $86 after PM. Fortunately, I missed out on it then.

http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=007084&cid=PR.392.955

I had no problem PMing at BB. CC ships for $6.99 per order so this PM should be good across the country if you add the shipping cost. Currently out of stock online but you can still order and they ship when available.

Thanks to Genblue who mentioned it in this thread. I thought it was hot enough to warrant its own thread.

At these prices, you're better off buying another printer each time you need more toner! :cheesygri

Really cheap at www.TonerKits.com it's been discussed in this thread: Toner Refills - US$6.99 Samsung ML-2010 ML-1740 ML-1710 $12.99 Brother HL-1435 + s/h (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67052&highlight=tonerkits.com)

Toner (http://www.tonerkits.com/hl2040-2.html) is $7.99 and reset gear (http://www.tonerkits.com/hl2040-2.html) is $3.99 (only needed for the starter toner)

See post #647 (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6651110&postcount=647) to see where the reset gear goes on the TN-350 toner.

My neighbor did a price match for two of these at Best Buy. They messed up the amounts but they agreed to PM.

I'm going in this morning for my own pair. :cheesygri

That's why I did the calculations on the printout from CC that showed the price and stock availability. The cashier did appreciate the calculations although initially she said that she would have to use the $89.99 price because they didn't give cash back rebates. I pointed out that it was a $2 discount for paying by cash and I preferred to use my cc for extended warranty and that I would pay the additional $2 if she wanted or I would use my debit or get cash. She said that was ok and rang it in for $64.49.

Call them at the number listed below as per their policy. If you ordered it and they refused the price match, just return it. I wouldn't take no for an answer. Ask for the manager and then the district manager until you get it. I was prepared to stand firm but this was the easiest PM that I ever did.

But the website does say that you can still order and it will ship when available in other words, CC will honour the price so BB should as well.

Beware when shopping at Canada Computers. They just repack defective returns and sell it to unsuspecting customers as brand new (I fell victim to it). Now, there's no difference between shopping at Canada Computers or Factory Direct... It's become a luck of the draw, buy something and hope it works for you as they so much refurb garbage now.

This is BS. "Limited Quantities" refers to when a store only offers a limited quantity for sale such as 5 per store. You indicate that you are in Burlington. There is 1 available in Brampton and 2 in Vaughan. You should indicate to BB that you could easily drive to one of those locations to pick up a printer. Based on the receipt, proof of purchase at a lower price, they would have to honour the PM. I'm in Brampton and there is one in stock in Brampton. If confronted on this, I was going to respond that I could drive over to the Brampton CC store and get one so they can't say it is limited. Also, CCs regular price is $89.99, $145 less than BBs price. At the very least, they should PM that price. As I stated in my 1st post, I had no problem with the PM. Perhaps, you should go back and indicate that your friend got one in Brampton and your neighbour also did. So why are you being denied?

Agreed. She checked the quantities in Mississauga (after I said that I'd go to CC) and there was no inventory. I think that they would have matched if CC had inventory.

I could get them to PM with Staples ($99.99) and get it for $86.46 but I'm not going to do.

I got BB to price match staples (99.99), my BB (burlington) had the copier for 149.99 though so i got it for 94.99 ish and not cheaper.

best buy price match sucks...the bb stores are selling the printers for $150 instead of $235 as listed online. bb online customer service won't price match using the website price unless it's shipped to an address (price matches for online orders for in-store pickups will be based on the in-store prices)

btw, for you people wanting a cheap laser printer, check out this other brother one for $56...it sells for $83 at ncix...get it PM'ed

It was clearly $234.99 in store both on the shelf and scanning at the register on Tuesday when I purchased it. They must have adjusted their price since.

The PM should be based on the price you are paying. If you order online, you are being charged the online price not the store price.

we'll see what happens...i already ordered one...bb instore customer service is horrible at some stores so i'm not exactly looking forward to arguing w/ them again..there have been many times where they've refused to price match or only match the price isntead of beating it by 10% of the difference.

also, the stores are retardedly slow when dealing w/ instore pickups...i'm supposed to be able to pick up the items within 3business hrs but it's rare that the store will process the item that quickly....NCIX better still have some printers instock at the time of pickup else I won't be able to get the price matching done...

here's an update...

i ordered one last night from BB online. when i arrived at the store today to pick it up, they immediately noticed that the online invoice was a lot more expensive than the $149 store price. when i mentioned price matching, they became defensive and tried everything they could to keep me from buying the printer.

they tried the following excuses:
*NCIX is banned from their price matching policy because the NCIX return policy is crap (yes, NCIX customer service sucks but i've never heard of BB enacting this policy)
*they said they'll only match NCIX's price because they aren't even supposed to compete w/ NCIX
*they said that NCIX's price was $93 because that's what it shows on NCIX's non-sale part of the website
*they said the online price has now changed to $149 and that even though i ordered it at $235, they won't allow me to use the $235 price for price matching
*they can only price match based on the instore $149 BB price with the condition that they will no longer do NCIX price matches for me since they claim what I'm getting is a special one time deal not available to others

in the end i still grabbed it but this adds to list of crappy experiences at BB/FS.
