Im looking for my first mortgage and I went to a large mortgage brokererage first for help.
He gave me good advice and an idea of the rates I can get.
He sent me a form to start the process BUT I am wondering if I should go to some other brokers first to see if they can offer me different deals.
Will all brokers offer the same deals or will they all have different ones??

you can get an idea of the newest rate people are getting
then you shop around hoping to find someone (bank/broker) who can offer that

Visit this link http://caamp.org/index_e.htm
and search for mortgage brokers in your area who hold AMP designation.
Interview them over the phone or meet in person. Ask them not to pull your credit bureau till you decide to go ahead with any one of them. Ask for references from them and call a couple of people to see if they provided good services and rates to them and then decide.
Most of the brokers would be offering similar rates but some can do a bit better as well.
Good Luck.
