Does anyone know if we can order this to Canada... since it is from amazom.COM and not .CA?

I have only ever ordered from amazon.CA

You can order, but you'll have to pay shipping. It's usually a wash, since you don't pay tax. No duties, but there is a currency conversion.

Might be a silly question: Is this in 16:9 or 4:3?

Don't people normally purchase boxed sets of good TV shows?

Sure, it might be a great deal, but it's....King of Queens.... :|

the first 6 seasons are 4:3, and the last 3 are 16:9, as thats when they started shooting it in HD

You've got to be kidding right? One of the best comedies on TV... and it's a great price.

That being said, much like the simpsons/family guy/seinfeld, it's already on 30-35 times a week on basic cable, so you don't REALLY need to buy the DVDs...

Yeah I have to agree that this is one of the funniest underrated shows on TV.

Picked up a set. It came out to $113 after shipping.

Thanks OP. :)

I like the show myself - but IMHO the show does NOT belong with those other series (THOSE are great shows).

Thanks for the deal OP!

Really? For the first 1/2 of the series, Leah Remini is just plain hot...and one of my favorite funny moments on TV is the one where they go to the woods for the weekend, end up staying at the place Doug and an Ex used to stay at, then Doug gets lost in the woods...for those that remember that, hilarity ensues!

Don't know if I would go as far as buying it, but it's a pretty good show.

I find this show as annoying as Two And A Half Men. I'd rather spend the $105 on a season DVD of Steven and Chris than on this.

Exactly why I will save myself the $100... but if it weren't I would jump on it right away. I can usually find at least 2 or 3 episodes on each night if I wanted.

this show is super-funny and definitely has a family-comedic feel like Everybody Loves Raymond. I loved the cross-over eps. where Ray and Debra was on the show, I was like, "Holy cr@p" *o*; so I guess Ray and Doug/James are good buddies. ^v^

I'm desperately looking for the Gilmore Girls complete boxset. I miss it so much now that it's not on W-network.

KOQ
KOQ was one of the best shows in the last 10 years. Sorry it doesn't compete with your 'Dancing with the Stars' Bonus DVD with mini Bruno "action" figure.

I had no idea people felt so strongly about that little rectangular mindsuck.

Have you seen the movie "Grilled" (2006) ? if you like those 2 guys , you might enjoy the movie.. my g/f thought it was a bit cheesy but i love both "king of queens" and "everybody loves raymond" and thought it was good.. not great.. but good.

Its just nice that they swear in the movie :cheesygri

If the dvd's are coming from amazon.com, wouldn't we have to pay customs fees (duties or taxes)?

NY did go after Amazon to collect state sales tax. As I recall, it was a fairly recent court decision, as Amazon had opposed it, but lost.

They ship out of Ontario so no. I've never had any customs fees when ordering from amazon.com

Thinking about getting this set, but the show is on reruns twice a day now...think its still worth it to get boxed sets like this?

I ordered it, I have season 1 at home, and I find certain episodes will never come on TV, so its a good buy IMO. I like the paintball episode with the bucket of chicken, and the woods episode is funny also, when he runs over the gnomes.
