I was at Costco in Montreal (Pointe Claire) today and noticed a red two seater dune buggy for 1,800.00.

I was with my wife so I had to show disinterest in it but I did note it was a four stroke and had disc brakes. I was considering an atv for the cottage but this could do the trick for that price!!!

Anyone know anything about this toy????

Thanks,

I built a kit like yours when i was a kid in the Sault. Almost the same candy apple red. Now I gotta bug my mom to did out some old pics to scan.

Nice idea for the front bumper with the extra lights!! Better then what I came up with.

To get a safety, I had to tape a flash light to the roll bar:idea: :D

you might be able to get it cheaper on ebay or even automobile stores in the states (Pep Boys etc)

Save on gas, commute on a 600cc motorcycle. Even with gas prices the way they are, my fill ups are $14 at most and that gets me hundreds of kilometers down the road. :)

Can`t do it. It`s off road only.

I went back this morning. Made by Baja Motorsport. 150 cc 4 stroke engine, disc brakes and electric start. 1799.00

are these street legal?

Legal or not, the thing is when a car hit you or when you hit another car.... chance is you won't stay alive with this.

It's good to get dirty in summertime with it though.... with small modifications, you can get them out in wintertime on an icy water for some fun.

No they're not!
These are only for off road, so stop asking if these are legal on the street.
