Anyone watch the Finland - USA game from the World Hockey Championships?

USA is up 2-0 going into the third, Finland has a powerplay, they "score". Replay CLEARLY shows the puck going through the side of the net, outside the post, video review still calls it a goal.

I'm all for equal opportunity employment, but letting a blind guy be the goal judge in the booth is just ridiculous.

I'll try and get a video soon.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Finland came back to win 3-2.

I watched the third period of the game...

I'm not sure about IIHF but in the NHL, the goal judges don't have all the same the cameras angles that we watch the game from, but that was a ridiculous call.

That's cool if they don't have the weird angles, but a simple overhead camera shot shows that it went outside the post....

Wow. If they don't fire that ******'s ass I'll be seriously disappointed.

Also, how shoddy does a net have to be to let a shot through the side without anyone leaning on it? Maybe those tubes holding the nets in place were tight or something, but it's hard to imagine why this would happen with a properly constructed net.
