I just came from trying to price match a video card from Tiger Direct to FS. To no surprise, the bastards rejected it. The thought that all tiger direct sold was refurburished stuff, therefore refused to price match. Well, I decided to look for osmething that says on tiger direct that says that their video cards are new so anyone have any idea where it may say something like that? tips on how to sucessfully fight for a price match are also appreciated.

TD products are new unless they say otherwise, just like those at FS - it's the law. But don't waste your time - if you go back to FS they'll just go through their excuse list:
- TD is an online store and they don't match online stores
- they have to include the cost of express next-day delivery in the price comparison
- it's not exactly the same model number because some letter or digit is different
- the warranty is not the same
- their price is just too low
- we don't feel like it, so go ahead sue us if you really care

What I want to know is where is the consumer watchdog in Canada who should tackle FS over their false advertising of policies?

Well Tigerdirect has retail stores now in canada, so you could argue on that.
Also they have a separate section for refurbished stuff, so you could show them that too.

LOL. I'd found that out long time ago. FS won't dare to PM Tigerdirect. They are useless. I end up bought them from Tigerdirect and never ask for PM again from FS.

However, I did PM a few times no problem at BB. They are OK. I found BB is better than FS even thought they are the same as BB is the parent company of FS.

you can also argue with FS that they PM with Dell which is strictly online, as oppose to TD.:)
