ymca north york bayview and sheppard

any body going to this ymca. i want to learn swimming/karate/do weights. i think the membership covers them all. any reviews and feedback.

Was a member there for about 1 year ... waste of money - always packed at anytime I when .. morning like 7 am - 10 pm, people are smucks that think they are Arnold, always lifting in the mirror thinking they got something ... in the summer its packed with students from near by high schools - you will never get a free court, Staff think they are god and some I know some of them personally - they think just because they clean the urine from the sauna and but get access to the VIP gym upstairs they are better than you.

The one good thing is that the change rooms were at most times pretty clean and maintained, bad thing is Old Men love the change room too:o another thing is the location is nice and Loblaws across the street is nice if you need a quick snack after a work out.

If I were you wait till Sept when the High School kids cancel their membership

oh and no one likes to wipe after use of machine ... this gym is infamous of this.

Also the gym is bad in design and allow a ton of free loading dead beats that by past the check and membership by going thru the window tunnel above the pool up to the running track and down to the gym - via avoiding the check in turnstyle
