I don't think this the right forum to discuss this, but this is my favorite forum on this site, I trust all your opinions.
So, uncovered my B.B.Q and found droppings from hungry winter mice.
Any tips on keeping mice away from there?
A friend offered moth balls. Is this common?
Same house for ten years and first time I saw this.
By the way I soaked grills and all other people parts. I just want to make sure they do not come back.
Tnx in advance.

While I've never experienced it -- I always wondered why there wasn't some kind of mobile BBQ cleaning service
I'd buy a full cleaning every single year if I could..
I guess my only advice would be, before you put the BBQ away for the winter or whatever to make sure the insides are thoroughly cleaned of grease/food deposits and hopefully that would be enough
Good luck though

mouse traps around the grill ;).
Ask your local home hardware store for their input on this matter too, they might have some answers or just google it as they say.

I've seen people doing door to door cleaning out of their truck. I went to pick up new burners last weekend at a local BBQ shop and out back they were pressure washing about half a dozen customer units.

All cleaning is done on-site by a team of barbeque proffesionals. Your barbeque will be moved to a suitable area for cleaning and fully disassembled.
Every individual part of your barbeque is then scraped and vaccuumed to dislodge excess carbon and grease build-up. The remaining, and most difficult residue is then removed from the barbeque using power tools.
The finishing touches are acomplished manually using scouring pads and degreaser. Each part including the exterior is individually scrubed, washed and reassembled. The barbeque is then returned to its original location and tested to assure everything is working properly.
In some cases barbeques need a little more than just a cleaning. There may be extensive rust damage, the flame doesn't seem to be as strong as it used to be or your starter just won't work. Every barbeque will eventually require replacement parts. Not to worry. Start with the cleaning. Many times a cleaning will solve any problems you are experiencing with your barbeque. If parts are required and our crews are unable to replace or repair the damaged part on the spot we can arrange to schedule a return appointment to make the necessary replacements and repairs

I didn't post the location as I have no idea where the nsa is. Perhaps you could revise your profile. If you're in Toronto call Sobies. You could also try Home Hardware on Avenue Road although I don't know if they provide this service, they may subcontract it.
