Logic Computer House (www.logiccomputerhouse.com):Shop open or closed permanently?
Its been years since I bought from them. It was good site to check the prices.
I am trying to access the web site and all I get is Account Suspended.

Anyone with more info and Business is still open or not? Is web site address correct? Thanks

Went to the Markham store today and it's cleared out and has a bankruptcy sign on the door.

Thought so. Otherwise Web site won't be down. Web sites are cheap nowadays.

Finally got screwed with high margins or Canada Computers likes.

WOW:|

End of an Era.

I used to buy all my stuff from them. Despite the crappy service.

But in the past year or so, i've been a loyal customer to Infonec.

Bankrupt.

There was a sign on the door of the Mississauga store last weekend saying all assets have been seized as per their declaration of bankruptcy.

Definitely end of an era. I remember going to that place and Wize guy computers nearby when games were sold on 5.25" disks. I guess TigerDirect and the more affordable Canada Computer's put them under.

I tell you what I won't miss, that middle aged lady who frequently manned the cash. She was always a *****.

Liquidate it to places like FactoryDefect etc etc to recuperate some money.

That is unfortunate. I bought many things from them from the Mississauga Location. They also just recently moved to a new location in Mississauga too.

I'll pass by their store this weekend to see.

Sad to see the place go. I was there not too long ago (Markham) and in the last year, it didn't look like it was in good shape. It was dead quiet and Tiger was as busy as can be.

Too bad. I bought plenty from that location probably since the beginning. I just upgraded to a new computer from the one I bought from them 6 or so years ago. Their prices were not competitive enough and ended up buying most parts from Tiger and some hard drives from Canada Computers (Kennedy so polite those guys - forget Pacmall - need not say more). Sorry, was loyal to a certain extent.

I am so happy to see them closed because they DESERVE it. They got crappy service, I have seen them couple of times - one of the guys (I assume that was the owner) argued with some White customers and raised the voice. That is typical old style of customer service I have seen in Hong Kong.

The thing that annoys me because that **** is making all Asian look bad.

They ran their business (specially customer service) using the 20 years old model they used in Hong Kong. No wonder why they failed. Back in around year 2000, I told my friends that one day this shop would shut down. Yes, it finally comes true. Hate this store so much.

I still remembered, the owner (I assumed, or one of the *****s) always parked his stupid mod Audi in front of the store along the curb. There were parking spaces, you mofo, why the f- you got special privilege you f-ing bankrupted ******** *****. I wish you now debt like **** and sold your Audi and take the TTC mofo.

You deserve it, go back to school and learn customer service 101.

Oh, was that the silver Audi missing the grill in the Woodbine location?

I remember it from years ago because I remember seeing it a few times and wondering, why the hell you would ruin a A4 like that?

hmm...

maybe it's like back 15+ years ago.

when a lot of computer stores would go bankurp or so every few years ... just to come back with different name.

i still remember when a lot of stores were selling computers with Microsoft Windows 95,98 with office pre-installed illegally.
Some of the most popular stores now used to do that long time ago... like pcvonline, icct (lacks now)... and few others.

not saying logic computer house is/was (maybe)...

just saying... it bring back memories.

cash only, cash only!.. lol i remember when icct didn't even have credit & interac machine. cash only. i wonder why :D:twisted:

anyways... it sucks that logic computer is gone, i kinda liked shopping there.

End of an Era.

I used to buy all my stuff from them. Despite the crappy service.

But in the past year or so, i've been a loyal customer to Infonec.

I used to run their tech dept. in Scarborough, the employees were stealing them blind, tried to tell the manager but had a serious case unless-i-see-it.

Moved up despite the moron I was working for to their main warehouse. The warehouse manager had 4 years of driving a small truck in china, and no Canadian expertise. The Shipping and Receiving dock was bleeding them dry, the sales staff were making all kinds of kick-backs and sweet-heart deals, the RMA department which I was brought in to clean up, and did, had lost them at LEAST 2 million before I got there.

Cleaned up the RMA department from "discarding" tons of salable product to their friends and business partners, told the boss that the Warehouse manager was in one of the Mob's, that the RMA staff were waiting with baited breath for the moment I stopped my audits to restart business as usual and mentioned in passing that many of the employees were using hate-speech in the warehouse when they thought non-sympathetic ears couldn't understand. I was fired in a week after clearing out a back log of 40 pallets of RMA testing back log in favor of someone with more amenable world view and skin pigmentation.

The place was doomed, but I thought it might stick around long enough to help the community out, guess I was wrong. :P
