It's pretty good as long you have the receipt. Just walk in store with your game and receipt, if they have a copy they would give it to you.

Yeah, just bring it back in with your receipt and such.
Curious to note is that you used "game freezing" as an example for returning a game. Could the game be GTA IV by any chance? ;)

yah thats one of the games, but i figured out that for ps3, all i had to do was turn off the internet connection from the ps3
but my other game i bought under a year ago at eb, its not that it freezes a lot but theres a certain section of the game that if i go to, it freezes, and since i have relplacement on it, might as well take advantage.
i wonder if eb games takes my games n then puts it out for resale as PPV

No they send them back to the warehouse as defective product.

Their $3 warranty is great for 360 games. My console scratched up my Guitar Hero 2 disc so I brought it back and they exchanged it right there, no questions asked.

I once bought a used game and the guy gave me his warranty receipt from EB. The disk was a bit scratched and the manual had some water damage so I just returned it for a new one after and they didn't give me any hassle.

Check the disc to see if there are any marks. If so many games are freezing, it actually might not be the game(s) but rather the console.
If, by chance, all those games have marks, bring them all back to EB to get new/used ones.

if its scratched and freezing, just bring it back.
they won't dispute it since you did purchase a warranty for it.

just wondering would they give me a brand new sealed copy or
1. Pick up a ppv from the shelf
2. Get a sealed one and then open it up for me to see?

If you bought a new game, they will give you a new game and if you bought a previously played game, they would probably try to give you the same. I only had experience with the new game. I think the guy actually just replaced the disc for me and I kept my original box and manual.

New Purchase
It depends on the CSR/Location, some will give you the Game/Sealed while other will Open it (so you can't Return it for a Full Refund/Credit).
