I saw in RFD homepage there is an ad from a relatively new VOIP provider. bramatelecom.com is the site. It doesn't make much sense. $10 a month for the service? How the hell do they make any money?
I called today to get a line for myself but I didnt place the order because Im still not sure how reliable they are. I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with them.
Are there any hidden fees? They tell me there is no activation no system access fee and nothing extra. It really doesn't make sense! or I've just been paying too much for my homeline all these years!
please let me know what you think. Thanks

vbuzzer.com $25 a year, plus cost of the phone adapter if you don't have it.
I've had it for a couple of months. Unlimited 416, 647, and "local" 905 numbers (mississauga area)
Only complaints have to do with long distance 905 numbers, but I send off a ticket and they fix it up within a day or two.
For ticket Customer Service I'm actually quite impressed. In many ways it's better than phone in customer service from ****** companies.

I get my VOIP for $10.95/month from AIC.
http://www.ibuzz123.com/ibuzz/html/default/
In the beginning I had some problems with incoming calls, but I think it had to do with the ISP and now it's all fixed.
Unlimited local calling and all the other extras (caller ID, call waiting, VM, etc).
Only 100 minutes free long distance to anywhere though.
I don't know if they have it in Ontario though.
I'm happy with AIC for now.

Hazard: bramatelecom.com!

They cheat, deceive, and fool customers around. That's how they make money.
I called today to get a line for myself but I didn't place the order because Im still not sure how reliable they are. I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with them.
I had, I was their customer and victim
Are there any hidden fees?
There are many hidden fees: $100 for the modem, system access fee, and they show just the lowest long distance rates to few destinations. When you dial your destination, it's usually much more expensive than posted. And they round up to the next minute, and on, and on......
Beware of bramatelecom.com
bramatelecom.com disgusting VOIP telephone service and long distance provider.
On top of that there is 8 to 15 second connection delay. In other words, when you dialled, you have to wait 8 to 15 second before the phone rings at the destination. If you make many outgoing calls, it's really annoying

i tried using AIC in vancouver for half a year now, works great! they are not the cheapest in town ($10.95 plus other small fees i think), but they at least have a few shops around to service me if needed. quality is good, i had vonage before and was more than double the price.
might be one you can consider. link below:

Hi..
Been using this since August, pretty good quality phone calls - but when you do have a problem, watch out, support close to non-existent. Two days and still trying to get outgoing calls working however incoming calls working fine. Will see how long I'll stay.
