Hi there,
While I would never buy an extended warranty from Future Shop, Best Buy or most other places, I would definitely buy one again from London Drugs.
I bought a DVD player there a couple of years ago and decided to go for the extended warranty. I believe it was just $14.99. Well, about 14 months after buying it, the thing stopped working. I called them, told them I had the warranty and they said bring it in and we'll give you a new one. They did.
They tested it on the spot, handed me a new box and I bought another warranty on that. Walked out with it 15 minutes later.
Same thing with a Toaster Oven 16 months after purchase. It just stopped working. Took it in and walked out with a new one.
It is so hard to find places that have decent, no hassle warranties - I thought I would mention London Drugs.
