View Full Version : Steeped tea gone in Tim Horton... Mad

I am in the minority, but I love the steeped tea (as compared to bagged tea) from Tim Horton. I like the tea mix Tim Horton uses.

But now it is gone... I cannot find it in any chain...

Was there an official announcement that it has been discontinued? What happened? Can someone plz fill me in?

Probably reworking the brew .

I thought it was terrible and very weak .

im drinking mine right now. is this only in specific locations?

i personaly love the steeped tea.

It was in all locations, Canada-wide, as of last Friday, all steeped tea was pulled. It is back now though.

in truth i didn't know it was gone since i don't drink as much now that school's done but is it really back ? when i'm around it i'm hooked on it too .. quite addicting, that steeped tea is

It is back in the stores now. It was recalled, apparently because the product was created incorrectly and was clogging the machines. It was pulled from all stores last Friday, but it is back now after they got another batch produced.

who the hell drinks tea at timmies??? they only make cheap/good coffee IMO

Better thing to do is go to a grocery store and buy your own teabags. They do not properly prepare ceylon tea. You need to have a tea pouch, tea leaves, and a teapot to properly make it. Then with specific amount of time brewing, and a cup with milk in it, a good cup of tea can be prepared. If you go to a good chinese restaurant, they can prepare it. Taste like a mix between coffee and tea.
