Hi Everyone,

I decided to post this now as I’m sure a ton of you are thinking of ordering flowers for mother’s day

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my fiancée February 13th 2008 from flowers canada ( flowerscanada.com ). They were delivered the next day as expected. Upon inspection, it looked like the flowers had been left overnight in a truck and were frozen, most of the petals on the roses had fallen off, basically it looked awful.

I contacted flowers Canada and they seemed very reasonable about the whole situation. They asked me to send in pictures and said that I should expect a full refund within the next 2-3 business days. I send the pictures in about 5 minutes after speaking to them.

2 weeks went by and I never received an email. I called again and they said they were having trouble with emails and asked for me to send in the pictures and assured me that I’d receive a refund.

2 weeks later, no refund, I called and left a message. A few days later no call back. For the next 2 weeks I called and left a message every few days, no reps were ever available for me to speak to.

Now 13 weeks later, I’m on hold with a rep, she is extremely rude and has left me on hold for at least 25 minutes stating that she will “look into the situation”

I know some people may have had positive experiences with these guys, I sure didn’t. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re thinking of ordering from them, do yourself (and your loved one) a favour, spend the extra 10-20 dollars and go through a local flower shop!

Man, that sucks. I hope you get your money back.

Their website is beyond ghetto. It looks like something someone learning HTML would throw together.

My boyfriend used www.flowerscanada.com and have the same bad experiences. He called few times, they said they'll investigate... but weeks after weeks.. month after month... still got no response...

I personally use Teleflora.com and have a wonderful experiences with them. But the deliver addresses were not in Toronto, maybe that's why they deliver on time?? because of smaller city?? (they do offer delivery in Toronto though) I ordered flowers from Teleflora 4 times already.. and still happy with them. I used Paypal to pay because i don't have a credit card and also paypal user have 15% discount. (if i remember right.)

I just placed an order for Mother's day. I hope they deliver as on time as usual.

Happy mother's day to all~

I would do a credit card chargeback.

I would do a credit card chargeback.

Charge back would not be possible since the service was rendered (i.e the flowers were delivered). The credit card company is not responsible for the quality of the service/product.

Thanks for the story -- I was looking for places that would send mothers day flowers as well...guess I'll be avoiding these peeps!

Every time I have ever purchased flowers I have done so through small local shops. Something that is supposed to be for someone special in your life should not be something that you try to save every penny on.
