I've received a letter from Canadian Tire today with changes to the Gas Advantage program:
<snip>
We want you to be aware of the following changes to the Gas Advantage Rewards Program tier table, effective July 1, 2008:
- A new tier which will save you 8 cents off per litre for monthly spending between $1000 and $1,999.99. Currently, a discount of 10 cents off per litre is earned for monthly spending of $1,000 or greater.
- You will save 10 cents off for monthly spending of $2,000 or greater versus $1,000 or greater currently.
</snip>
They've also made some changes to the warranty products.
The rest of the details of the program seem pretty much the same. Still a $700 limit on gas -- which doesn't really seem fair considering how much gas has gone up in the past few months. It would have been nice if they raised that limit as well.
