I was looking at the Avon.ca website, some of their products seem pretty good, I'm thinking about ordering some stuff such as shower gel, lotion, and etc., however, I'm not too comfortable using my credit card on-line.

Has anyone here ordered products from avon.ca? If so, how secure is it to order on-line? And how are the quality of their products?

Many of Avon's products are the basis for 'fancier name branded' products by other manufacturers. They do their own research and development, and are constantly leading the industry in many areas - especially on the cosmetics/skin cream side. At Avon you'll get much larger product portions for much cheaper than other brands where you're paying for the fancy designer name. I've never seen/heard of/used an Avon product that wasn't top quality. Not only that, but they have a fairly liberal return/refund policy. When you buy online and have to return, at least you aren't hurting your local rep - who takes that loss out of pocket if they can't resell the item.

As for using your CC online - it's fine. It's been fine for many, many years. Make sure to shop at reputable online retailers (like Avon), rather than sketchy online retailers that look too good to be true that no-one has used before.

I've purchased Avon online, you can always get bonus gifts for buying, crazy clearance specials and free shipping for purchases over x $. Make sure you do a google or something for promotional codes as well when you are ready to buy.

Thanks for your replies, I will check on-line for promotional codes, I've heard from a few people that Avon products are better quality in comparison to Yves Rocher.

I've been told by a friend that avon products can be purchased through a Avons Representative, but I don't think I can apply any coupon codes if I make my purchase through a Avons Representative, it that correct?

Which method would be better and faster? Order directly on-line, or throught a Avons Representative?
