I was wondering which store in Toronto carries the largest selection of Japanese snacks such as Pocky?
I am looking for unique flavours. :cheesygri

I noticed that so many places don't sell the more special flavours from Japan.

I think you can try J-Town http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=12185&id=7597209669 or Galleria Korean Supermarket http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=12198&id=7597209669

im looking for a japanese snack for over a year, but unable to find it anywhere. a coworker who returned to japan sent us these snacks a few times, but that was over a year ago.
its cuttlefish or the such that is shredded and pressed into flat cookie-like shape. its not the shredded cuttle fish that we are used to seeing in asian markets. it looks like a really thin cookie, but made of cuttlefish or the such (i cant read japanese). the texture looks very much like cardboard. =)

Believe it or not, Walmart sells a lot of Japanese snacks - I've seen Pocky there as well as those Japanese honeycomb cake things.

Yeah, I was at the Walmart in Markville yesterday and they were selling a limited variety of Japanese snacks.
Pacific Mall and Market Village have a couple of stores that sell Asian snacks including the supermarkets there. Ding Dong sticks out in my mind as one of the bigger shops, but there are smaller ones dotted throughout Pacific Mall.
They've been going nuts over the Japanese import KitKat bars. Although it still confuses me why they import Japanese original KitKat.

+1 to J-Town, they have quite a bit of selection. Though they are not often always in stock, they carry really random things every once in a while too :p
