200 bucks for a keyboard?
That's worse than $400 for a remote control.

I believe these were $50 bucks in the states before. But here (canada), it was $100 at FS a few months ago.

How did the price match for $200 work? My math states...
$299-$240 = $59 (10%) = $5.90
So, $240 - $5.90 = $234.10

It was also 149 recently I believe too.
I have the keyboard it's sick for my HTPC. Nothing beats it. It's a work of art.

i find it VERY ood that your call asking for a "PM" netted you a $200 deal
it makes no sense they'd give it to you for a price lower than both competitor and their own.

awesome keyboard for a HTPC, but no Numpad sucks
Trust me, the numpad would have made it wider and harder to lug around the
living room (if you're using it as an HTPC like I am). It's a great keyboard, but
I do wish the thumbpad could be disabled so that it doesn't move the mouse
whenever I hit the enter or shift keys.
PS - Futureshop $100 boxing day deal was amazing!

Question for the owners:
Is that little round trackpad in the corner really a track pad (controls the cursor)? or is it just a nifty little scrolly bar?
EDIT: did some research and yes, it is a trackpad.
damn. I wanna get this keyboard now too.. too bad I already have a gyration kb and mouse...

Right now you can get it at staples for about 156.00 (less with a coupon) if you get them to PM DirectCanada http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=1266128123F&vpn=967685-0215&manufacture=LOGITECH
or 1click2computers.com
Its a sweet keyboard for home theater!

I PM'd mine a few months ago for $134 bucks tax in at BB. I bought it on Boxing Day for $100, but back out, d'oh!
The keyboard is ok, intermittently become unresponsive playing video games for between 5 - 10 seconds sometimes...I think it's the bluetooth dongle.

since Boxing day I believe FS had this for $149 twice and I just couldn't bring myself to buying it. my keyboard is one of those things that I never move around so could not justify it and ended up getting stuff that would actually help the performance of my pc like my Q6600, ram, 3 x 500gb HD and corsair modular PS. also new notebook. now if it went down to $99........

Another alternative is to pickup the PS3 Mediaboard Pro. It's a pretty slick keyboard which has an improved trackpad. There have been some bad reviews on the Edge's trackpad in that it is not sensitive enough. I own a mediaboard and it is as responsive as a notebook trackpad.
CC has it for $64.29. http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=017419&cid=PE.703
You can get it special ordered from staples. I think their price is $65 -$79. They will have to order it from ingram micro. You can price match with CC.
Directcanada has it the cheapest at $53, but they are out of stock.
The only downside is that you can't assign the top media buttons, there's not charging dock, and you will require your own bluetooth dongle. (I just use a $2 from LEDShoppe.) Tested and works with vista and XP.
This a much cheaper alternative for a decent HTPC keyboard

Yeah, Bluetooth is not as good as Fast-RF for PC use, and these are obviously designed for HTPC or PS3 use.
