This is probably good enough for baseboards, trim, moulding and hardwood flooring.... deck and outdoor fencing too. It doesn't cut 2x10 but for $150 who cares...

Has anyone seen any good deals on sliding models lately?

Between basement and deck this summer, I think I might want something that slides. Either 10" or 12".

Just go with a 10" dude. The price premium on the 12" blades is crazy, if/when you need to replace.

HD has Ryobi sliding 10" for $199...

Costco has King Canada sliding 10" for $199...

Can't make my decision between the two of them.

Any suggestions which would be better?

It looks like a really nice saw.. although I want a 10" that cross cuts a 4x4.
