Rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone.
Some people swear by peanut butter and some elbow grease but I've never tried....

The one product that does not list its ingredients. Apparently a secret mixture of caustic chemicals :?:

Google "removing contact cement". Lacquer thinner seems to work but I would suspect it will affect (soften) the floor finish. I would contact the tech support people at Lepages to see if they have any suggestions for your specific problem. If you're not concerned about the existing floor finish, lacquer thineer will do the job, read the bak of the can.

consider what damage a chemicla may do to the wood before using it. No point in destroying the wood. We used warm water (yep, plain tap water) and thin paint scrapers. if the glue is old enough, the water will break the bond after it soaks in a little. Don't use too much, just dampen to start. Good luck.
