Just a question, and I'm not trying to threadcrap, but an 09 IS250 With the Xenon Headlights and leather is $36 885 US. Why is yours worth $38 000 CDN at almost 2 years old?

Good Question ...
IF you find a dealer to sell you a lexus in the US ...
38,655US = 39,500 CDN Today (probably more this is bank rate)
Duty = 6% duty = 2400$ (Japanese cars pay duty)
GST = 5% = 2000$
PST 7.5% (Quebec) = 3000$
39,500$
+2400
+2000
+3000
_____
46,900$ This doesnt include the RIV fees and transport and misc.... etc.
Dealers here in montreal still sell this (2007) year/model for 40+ Plus 2 taxes
I'm selling for 38k + 1 tax (provincial) for the same thing with the same warranty etc.

You have to also take into consideration that his model is AWD.

Not to thread crap...but I just looked up lexus of canada.
09 IS250AWD with Leather and Roof:
$41,400 list price
+ PDI, Freight etc (probably around $2k)
+ PST, GST
So for something new, you can get one for 50k on the road with new warranty till 2012 (assuming you buy now) you probably can get the car for 47k on the road.
