I am spring cleaning and found three Laser Disks in the closet.

Sade (concert)
Clint Eastwood Trilogy (I think) and
Jurassic Park

PM takes them FREE for Pickup in Georgetown

What is this laser disk you speak of ??? Trilogy as in the Dirty Harry movies?

do you mean CD?

I would take the Dirty Harry Movies but don't got a laser disk player - Good Luck.

sorry, but i can't tell if :arrowu: is being sarcastic, or if you really don't know what LD is. Anyways if you don't know what it is, it is these massive discs that were semi popular in the early/mid 90's. I guess it never really took off.

They didn't....I think my brother has the player...mayyyybe.

The quality is REALLY good though!

If that Jurassic Park was the DTS laserdisc version, it would be rare as hell. Apparently to this day, the DTS Laserdisc of Jurassic Park still has the best cut of the audio (HUUUUGE amounts of bass) out of all other versions.

These just never got out there did they. Plus didnt you have to flip the disc half way through the movie if it was longer.

I do remember seeing a demo of Top Gun though, looked petty sweet

I still have a laser disc player. I was sad to see the format die. I can't wait for Jurassic Park to come out on blu-ray!

Yes you did! I remember that. My uncle or some sorta older relative had The Hunt for Red October on LD. Good stuff. If only I had a LD player....It'd be right beside my betamax :)
