I want to pick a kit of these up and have it with me by friday at the latest. My crucial kit was defective so I sent it for an rma and have been without my main computer for over a week. I don't think I can go another weekend without it. So anyways are the in stock any where? Or if not can any other kit hit over 900mhz easily? I would rather not go crucial again, because I've heard many besides my own have had problems. Mushkin is the brand I would like but it doesn't really have to be Mushkin, it is just good because of the support for it on the NCIX forums.

You know, if you buy Mushkins and need to send them back, you could get hit with a $35 charge the hit Canadian customers with.

Buffalo Firestix DDR2-800 is the cheapest D9GMH. It hits over 1000 MHz @ 2.1v to 2.2v.

Luckily, they axed that awhile ago after outcry for Canadian customers :)

Mushkins don't seem like they are coming in stock soon, and didn't see and 2x2gb firstix, might just get the crucial...again

2x2GB Firestix? I don't know anything about those. I just know the 2x1G modules are kickass. I have a pair. Too bad I'm running them together with crappy OCZ Platinums that limit my overclock...

You sure? They said they were going to but their website continued to say they'd charge CDN customers. They've recently dropped it from the site, or at least, they now require you to log in first. Not sure what they say when you log in.

Well, Mushkin reps officially said the practice was ending and that no one was actually charged the fee, and it no longer says anything about a fee where it used to. And also considering that I haven't heard a single complaint lately, I'd say I'm pretty damn sure ;)

Would that kit be better than redlines since it uses the older cells? I need it to run above 1000mhz

ahaha, my friend did that too (i personally had a pair too)... he ran 2x1gb firestix with 2x1 crucials... he was trying to run them close to same speed, tat made the crucial go crazy hot, like... hot as in, u can get burnt touching it.

tat basically melted the sticker on the ram, but it was so funny.
