Hi,

I'm looking to replace my inkjet printer with a laser printer/scanner/copier. I'm expecting low-to-medium usage and I'd like a low cost-per-page and low operational costs, so a cheap up-front price isn't a priority for me (although I don't really want to spend $500 for the unit either..).

I don't plan on faxing, so it's not important to me, but decent scanning capability would be nice.

Can anyone suggest one?

get HP .. check out your nearest walmart store .. you'll be happy with it.
stay away from BB or FS, they're rip you like theres no tomorrow.
dont bother buying extended warranty by the time your done buying it from them. it'll be like an arm and a leg.

+1. Toner and ink are expensive. With printer technology improving every year.. by the time you finished your toner.. you can pretty much buy a new printer. So don't both buying warranty. For me.. once I am done with my toner.. i will properly refill them or buy cheaper remanufactured toner for less. So I don't even consider buying warranty. If you got money and want to stick with genuine ink or toner.. then you can consider buying warranty. But I won't.

I only buy from FS or BB when they are on sales... really hot deals tho.
